Long Island Nets Interchange

I think subtle actions are under appreciated. The smallest thing can sometimes give you the great gain. One of my favorite offensive tactics is for the weak-side to just switch spots or interchange...basically don't stand still.
With that, I bring you my first G-League EOG breakdown. This is from the Long Island Nets vs Capital City Go-Go. They traded baskets for the last few minutes of the game and the Nets came out on top by 1.
Simple interchange can do a lot for the offense. Theo Pinson (two-way contract) was able to get sort of decent look for 3 (the Go-Go were pretty quick to react).
1. I think it is pretty clear that Alan Williams (Net's other two-way contract) knew the interchange was coming. He got the ball and turned quick to look for either a pass to the Creek cutting or Pinson for the 3.
2. Creek cutting to the basket added to the slight confusion from the Go-Go. Both defenders went with him for a second.
3. Even though Pinson missed the shot, go back and you will see Creek was able to get behind the defense for a good box-out (except the ball went to the other side of the basket).
4. The simple act of moving and not standing still created a good shot for the Nets. These simple movements can help teams so much. Creates space, causes confusion, opens up other teammates, open shots, etc. Move and good things will happen.
